What is a ceramic coating?
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to the vehicle's clear coat and provides a hard, transparent layer that does not wash off. It is sometimes called a semi-permanent, sacrificial layer of paint protection that lasts for years instead of weeks or months. It provides UV protection for your car's paint against the harsh Arizona sun. A properly applied ceramic coating also adds a super slick, hydrophobic coating that repels water, mud and road grime to make your regular maintenance washes a breeze. While it is a great product, it is not for every car. It is not recommended for cars with severely damaged paint or clear coat failure.
